No longer like songs about love
push and shove
my way to your heart again
What can I say, anyway
To make you turn ‘round and see, me
Standing where the river bends

I will wait by the river

And when the moon rises over the river
By it’s light I will wait yet

Look at the sky and try
to see it like it was new
so blue
but truly just a trick of light
If you take my hand, you can
Remember how it once felt, and melt
back home to where this all began

because it isn’t quite twilight
there’s still time to find
